a solid bass for ensemble playing - roger k bennett - Saturday, May 16, 2020
the woodnote bass recorder is an excellent instrument for recorder ensembles; it plays in tune and blends well with recorder trios , quartets and small recorder groups. The fingering is extra good especially with upper octave d e and f . The lower octave b natural seems to be its weakest note. all in all it is a good ensemble instrument.
